Snapp & Associates Senior Vice President Dan Beck has been named to Insurance Business America’s (IBA) prestigious Top Retail Brokers list for 2023. Beck is one of only 51 insurance professionals named to the annual national list which highlights some of the best in the US insurance industry, according to the organization.
To earn a place among IBA’s Top Retail Brokers of 2023, awardees are peer nominated and peer selected. To be considered for the award, nominees needed to generate at least $1 million in premium revenue during 2022, with at least 50% of that revenue deriving from commercial property and casualty policies. This accomplishment is particularly impressive considering the insurance industry, like many others, has been under incredible financial strain due to the pandemic and rising claims costs across all lines of business.
As quoted in the IBA report, Peter Miller, President and CEO of The Institutes, says a retail broker needs to combine expertise and industry knowledge as well as a commitment to building and strengthening relationships with both clients and insurance carriers in order to be successful in the insurance industry.
